The review identified critical gaps in gender statistics and monitoring, highlighting Pakistan\u2019s ongoing challenges in addressing gender inequalities despite global commitments under the 2030 Agenda. Through an in-depth analysis, the project provided clear evidence of deficiencies in reporting and emphasized the urgent need for stronger data systems, financing, policies, and governance mechanisms. Piloted in Rawalpindi with a survey of 1,160 women across 29 Union Councils, the study explored women\u2019s socio-demographic characteristics, economic and social empowerment, decision-making power, domestic violence, and health-seeking behavior. The study highlighted gaps in national gender statistics and emphasized the need for improved data systems. Based on the results, policy recommendations included strengthening women\u2019s property and inheritance rights, expanding access to education and healthcare, promoting reproductive health rights, preventing gender-based violence, and enhancing women\u2019s political and decision-making participation.
