Meeting with CDC Sindh

A collaborative meeting was held at the CGPH Islamabad office, led by Dr Faran Emmanuel, with participation from the Sindh TB Control Program, Pakistan. The Sindh delegation was led by Dr Anjum Soomro (Deputy Director, CDC III). The meeting brought together leadership from both sides to strengthen collaboration on TB control in Sindh.

Discussions focused on key areas including data analysis, capacity building, and ongoing research such as the cost-effectiveness trial with Mercy Corps.

Both teams agreed to work together to better understand the TB situation through data analysis, identify service delivery gaps, explore challenges in urban areas, and share learnings with global partners like the University of Manitoba.
